Harriet Rock

With 15 years of experience in photography, I’ve always loved the craft of image-making, from the darkroom to the digital camera. I enjoy introducing children to photography in a way that feels playful and accessible, helping them develop confidence, creativity and their own way of seeing the world.

Hara Gravani

Photo Instructor

I’m an architectural designer and parent of a curious three-year-old, with a lifelong love for photography and creative expression. My background in architecture has shaped the way I observe the world — noticing light, patterns, and the stories hidden in everyday spaces. Later, I deepened this passion through photography studies at the Athens School of Fine Arts, where I explored how images can capture both emotion and imagination. Working with children brings together everything I value most: creativity, curiosity, and play. I love helping them discover the joy of seeing the world through their own eyes and expressing their unique perspective through the camera lens.

Gary Manhine

I’m a photographer with 20+ years’ experience, having covered everything from Royal visits, to shots of Prime Ministers and portraits of musicians, comedians and artists, among many other things.

I also work with schools to generate imagery for website, prospectus and beyond and it’s brilliant to be around the natural curiosity and energy of children.

It’s great to have the opportunity to help facilitate children to use photography as a means of creative expression and to perhaps inspire one or two to delve deeper into the art and craft of creating images.

Nathan Mclune

I’m a film and digital photographer and a parent of two. I’m drawn to images that capture feeling and movement. Perfect is boring. I’ve worked with children for most of my life. They are refreshingly authentic and playful, which makes their work feel so alive. I love helping them trust their ideas and grow confident in how they see the world.
